I am a few months in to the early stages of the business of selling Electronic cigarettes online, offline, and at retail locations. I currently have three retail locations that sell my products and around 100 more interested as soon as enough product becomes available.
Electronic cigarettes comply with safe indoor air quality acts
A new battery-powered cigarette has hit the Central Ohio area market. These “electronic cigarettes” replicate the act of smoking without burning tobacco. In fact, no flame is required; and there is no flame or fire. Electronic cigarettes use nicotine cartridges, water vapor, and flavoring to create what closely resembles a nicotine inhaler with a light on the end of it. This device is able to get around smoking bans in nearly all indoor public places.
Electronic cigarettes are not smoking cessation devices, such as nicotine patches or gum, but they help users satisfy nicotine craving where traditionally smoking is not allowed. BarCigarettes.com and its electronic cigarette users say it helps the get the “physical addiction” of smoking under control. “Electronic cigarette smokers find that they can have the same psychological and physiological sensations without the negative side effects,” says a representative for BarCigarettes.com. “Since electronic cigarettes release no harmful first or second hand they are healthier alternatives. There are no lingering odors, no lasting smoke, and also no 4000+ carcinogens.”
Most nicotine cartridges for electronic cigarettes contain about the same amount of nicotine as a pack of cigarettes; but they are available in different levels of nicotine and an optional no nicotine cartridge. Each nicotine cartridge is equal to about a pack of cigarettes, depending on how you inhale the product. Electronic cigarettes provide the same amount of nicotine as a traditional cigarette with only a few puffs.
Often electronic cigarettes can be pricey to start using. However, the long term health benefits of the electronic cigarettes and the long term savings over traditional cigarettes will put more money in a smoker’s pocket within weeks and fresher air in their lungs immediately! Electronic cigarettes kits usually retail for around $60 and go up from there. Replaceable nicotine cartridges often cost around $2, depending on quantity ordered. Since the average pack of cigarettes cost is $5 to $6 each (and it keeps rising) and the average cost of a nicotine cartridge is only $2; that would mean a “pack-a-day” smoker would save at least $3 to $4 a day; which could mean a savings of $1460 or more a year!

I think there could be a future for eCigs, but unfortunately for the product many companies are already starting to ban them. There is probably more of a chance for the versions that do not have the built-in atomizers that expel mist. It's an interesting concept, and I think it's still in the early stages of where it could actually expand as a product.
